What is the Ocmulgee Duck Dash?
Big Brothers Big Sisters has been racing ducks on the water since 2016, raising funds to support our award-winning mentoring programs that serve kids throughout Central Georgia. The first three ducks to cross the finish line win prizes.
How many ducks are available for adoption?
We limit adoptions to 5,000 ducks.
Is there a deadline to adopt ducks?
Ducks adopted online by midnight the day before the race will be entered. Day of event duck adoptions may also be available onsite up to 30 minutes prior to the race, if not all ducks have been adopted.
Do I need to be present to win?
No! You are welcome to join us at the race in person or watch the race on Facebook Live. Winners will be contacted by email and phone.
You do not need to be present to win. In case of inclement weather, we will hold a drawing. The winning ticket will win $1,000. All winners will be notified the day of the event.
